Because I am a retired, Rio Grande Valley Wildlife Rescue has no sources of income to purchase the things we need other than your generosity.

We rely on your to donated medications, the ones that you might not have entirely used, as well as medical supplies and other items that you do not plan to use but that might be very valuable to the injured and orphaned animals we care for. We rely on medical equipment we have not yet located in the Rio Grande Valley. The most important would be an old portable X-ray machine. We also want to thank Valley Baptist Hospital, Valley Regional Hospital and DHR Health Care Hospitals throughout the Rio Grande Valley for donating their surplus equipment in the past. Since we operate as a 501c3 charity, they still supply us with discarded supplies as well.
