These creatures all rely on your charity. If you have seen something in a hospital, nursing home, HEB or Walmart, we can use it & Dr. H. can fix it. Also, most appreciated would be a used dental x-ray machine/or small portable, and an ultrasound unit and a pediatric transducer. Here are some of the other things we can always use:

This Facility does not pick up or transport injured wildlife. Dr. Hines does not treat dogs and cats anymore – even if it is after hours and your regular vet is closed. He has limited freezer space for fish. A pelican eats up to 4 pounds of fish per day. Because of that, his large case load and other factors, please do not arrive unannounced. Please do not be upset, leave bad reviews or complain to Austin if his facility has no open spaces at the time. No one pays him for his efforts, the medications he gives or the food the animals consume. If no one picks up the phone, it is because everyone is fully occupied tending to sick or orphaned animals. The Rio Grande Valley desperately needs more people like you helping wildlife that are in need. You don’t need a lot of fancy, degrees and education. What you need is a generous heart.
