FYI. Friday I sent the folks in Missouri 2 vials, to their vet. It made it to the vet yesterday morning, and was injected straight into the tumor. They are gonna repeat it today and tomorrow.

Ron, Unfortunately, Abbeyvet cannot obtain the Oncept IL-2 any more. It can only be gotten from the European Union. At this point, if it was my loved one and there is no hope of obtaining a treatment, I would inject Feline Interferon Omega straight into the lesion. That, of course, may not help but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to try. I have a 10 MU vial that I would rather give away than let it go to waste. Feel free to give her my contact number. I would walk on busted glass barefoot to help a dog or cat. I have contacted Abbeyvet and asked if it can be obtained and sent to America.

Hello, I read your article about Feline Interleukin 2 Immunomodulator vaccine and I can’t seem to find where it is offered. Do you know of any clinics that offer it? Hopefully near Kansas City as close as possible. Thank you for any help. I am trying to cure my cat who has suspected FISS. If you have any other ideas or tips, I would love to hear them.
Thanks again!

Call Boehringer Ingelheim’s customer care department and ask where, if anywhere, Oncept®, can be obtained for your cat. I’ll forward a copy of your email to a friend who might also know.

Hello, my name is David H. My cat had a fibrosarcoma tumor removed last year, and it unfortunately has reoccurred. I recently found your site with information on Oncept IL-2, and am hoping to try it this time around. I just moved to New Hampshire from California a couple of months ago, and am trying to find a good feline surgical oncologist in the area. I gave Merial/Boehringer Ingelheim a call but they wouldn’t give me any information regarding feline oncology centers with access to Oncept. They instead directed me to the Frontline website for clinics they do business with. Any help you might be able to provide would be appreciated, and thank you for putting up information on this drug.

Best,
David
